ScanOrbit vs QR Code Generator
The clearest difference isn't a feature. It's what happens on day 15. Their dynamic QR codes come with a 14-day free trial; ours come with a free plan that doesn't end.

Free trial versus a free plan
Details below are from QR Code Generator's own pricing page, checked 19 August 2026. We haven't quoted their prices: that page shows regional placeholders rather than a fixed USD figure, so any number we printed would be a guess.

What happens on day 15
QR Code Generator's free offering is a 14-day trial: their own pricing page frames it as "your first 14 days are on us", after which continuing requires a paid plan. If you've printed a dynamic code during the trial, the trial ending is a deadline attached to something physical you've already handed out.
ScanOrbit's free plan has no countdown. 3 dynamic QR codes and unlimited static ones, indefinitely, with 500 tracked scans a month. If you never upgrade, the codes keep working; passing the scan limit only stops us counting, it never deactivates a code.
Where they're ahead: their mid tier includes unlimited scans, and their type list still contains a few we don't cover, such as Google Forms and a queue system. We list 25 types to their 22, and cover three payment rails to their two, but totals matter less than whether the one type you actually need is on the list.
