These Terms of Service govern your access to ScanOrbit. Please review them carefully to understand user responsibilities and platform standards.
1. Agreement to terms
By registering a ScanOrbit account or accessing the platform, you agree to these terms. If you access ScanOrbit on behalf of an enterprise or organization, you confirm having the authority to bind that entity to this agreement.
2. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining credential security and all activity generated under your account. If you discover unauthorized access, notify us immediately at hello@scanorbit.app. Users must be at least 16 years of age (or the legal age of digital consent in their jurisdiction) to create an account.
3. Acceptable use standards
You may utilize ScanOrbit for legitimate commercial and personal purposes: routing to verified websites, menus, portfolios, contact cards, and media assets you own or are authorized to share.
4. Prohibited conduct
You may not deploy ScanOrbit QR codes to distribute malware, phishing campaigns, deceptive schemes, illegal content, or intellectual property violations. Automated scraping or denial-of-service attempts against our infrastructure are strictly forbidden.
Accounts violating acceptable use standards are subject to immediate termination without refund.
5. Content ownership and licensing
You retain full intellectual property ownership of all custom artwork, logos, and landing content uploaded to ScanOrbit. By utilizing the platform, you grant ScanOrbit a non-exclusive license to host and render your assets to end-users who scan your QR codes.
6. Service availability and uptime
We engineer our global edge routing to maintain 99.9% uptime. Scheduled infrastructure maintenance is announced in advance whenever practical. Unplanned incidents are communicated via platform status channels.
If a core paid feature is permanently deprecated, we provide at least 30 days prior notice and provide pro-rated refunds where applicable.
7. Billing and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual cadence. Annual plans are paid upfront. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime via the billing dashboard, with paid access continuing through the end of the current billing cycle.
8. Limitation of liability
ScanOrbit is provided on an 'as is' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScanOrbit and Unqode shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from downtime or lost scan opportunities.
Total aggregate liability in any billing year is limited to the fees paid by you to ScanOrbit during that 12-month period.
9. Governing jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in the EU/UK.
