What happens if you stop paying
Dynamic codes run through the provider. Some keep scanning after you cancel (Flowcode, Bitly); many stop (Uniqode, QR TIGER, QR Code Generator, Scanova). This matters most for anything printed in volume.
Free plan or free trial
A free plan keeps working; a trial ends. Uniqode, QR Code Generator and Scanova offer trials for dynamic codes; ScanOrbit, QR TIGER, Flowcode and Bitly have permanent free plans with different limits.
Scan and code limits
Look at both: how many codes each plan allows, and whether scans (or analytics) stop at an allowance.
Monthly or yearly billing
Several providers bill yearly only on most plans. If you want to pay month to month, check before you commit.

- Read the provider's policy on cancellation and trial end in writing; it decides whether your printed codes keep working.
