Password-protecting your QR codes

Gate confidential documents, patient forms, or private menus behind a access password.

Password protection places an access gate in front of your destination, requiring scanners to enter a passcode before accessing confidential links or materials.

Enabling password protection

  1. 1Open any dynamic QR code (Pro plan required).
  2. 2Under Advanced Options, enable Password Protection.
  3. 3Enter your chosen passcode.
  4. 4Save changes.

User scanning experience

Scanners are presented with a branded passcode verification screen. Upon entering the correct password, they are redirected immediately to the destination.

Passcodes can be updated or removed at any time in your dashboard without altering the physical QR code.
