UPI QR Code with Logo
A plain black-and-white code looks like everyone else's. Put your logo in the middle, your shop name above it and your colour on the standee, and customers know at a glance they're paying you.
Logo in the middle (optional)
Stays on your device. Square logos look best.
Standee colour
Everything happens in your browser. We don't see or store your UPI ID, and the code works with every UPI app for as long as your UPI ID does.
Enter your UPI ID and your code appears here.
Want to know who paid?
A UPI Payment Form code asks for a name or invoice number before the UPI app opens, so every payment arrives with a reference.
See the Payment Form QRHow to make it
- Step 1
Enter your UPI ID and shop name
The shop name is shown in the payer's app and printed on the standee.
- Step 2
Add your logo
Use a square PNG or JPG. It's placed in the centre on a white tile, and the code switches to its highest error correction so it still scans.
- Step 3
Pick a standee colour
Choose the colour closest to your brand for the Scan & Pay header.
- Step 4
Download, test, print
Scan it from two or three different phones before printing a batch.
Why a logo helps
Customers have learned to be careful with QR codes at the counter, because swapping a shop's code for a fraudster's is a known trick. A code with your logo and shop name is harder to fake convincingly and easier to trust. It also simply looks like it belongs to your business.
Tips for a logo that still scans
- Keep it simple: a symbol or initials work better than a full wordmark with small text.
- Square or round logos fit the centre tile best; very wide logos end up tiny.
- Use a logo with a transparent or white background so it sits cleanly on the white tile.
- Print the code at least 3 cm wide, a bit larger than a code without a logo.
Your logo stays on your device
The logo is added in your browser and never uploaded. If you'd like to keep your code in one place and come back to it, create a free ScanOrbit account: UPI codes and your own logo are both on the free plan.
Stay safe with UPI QR codes
- You never scan a QR code or enter your UPI PIN to receive money. Anyone asking you to do that is trying to take money, not send it.
- Check that the money arrived in your bank app or SMS, not on a screenshot the customer shows you. Screenshots are easy to fake.
- Look at your printed code now and then. A common trick is sticking a different QR code over a shop's real one.
Frequently asked questions
Will a logo stop the UPI QR code from scanning?
Not if it's kept to the centre. The generator covers about a quarter of the width with your logo and uses the highest error-correction level, which lets the code be read even with that part hidden. Always test before printing.
What logo file should I use?
A square PNG or JPG with a transparent or white background works best. SVG and WebP are accepted too.
Can I change the colours of the QR code itself?
This free tool keeps the code black on white, which scans most reliably on older phones. ScanOrbit's full designer, with colours, dot shapes and frames, is on the Pro plan.
Is it free to add a logo?
Yes. There's no charge and no sign-up for this tool.
