How to create one — step by step
Add the product
Upload a photo, then set the name, the price and a short description. Keep the description to what a shopper cannot see by looking at the item in their hand.
Point the button somewhere
The Buy button takes any URL — a product page on your own store, an Amazon or Etsy listing, a pre-order form, or a WhatsApp link. You can rename the button too, so it can read Order, Reserve or Enquire instead.
Print and reprice freely
Put the code on the label, the shelf ticket or the stall sign. The price lives on the hosted page rather than in the code, so changing it later costs nothing.

Best practices for product qr codes
Photograph the product, not the packaging
The shopper can already see the box. Show what is inside it, or the item in use, so the page adds something the shelf does not.
Write for someone holding the item
Skip the introduction. Lead with the thing they cannot work out by looking — the ingredients, the dimensions, the fabric, how long it lasts.
Label the button with the action
'Buy Now' is fine online, but 'Order for delivery', 'Reserve one' or 'Find a stockist' sets the right expectation when the next page is not a checkout.
Keep the price on the page, not on the label
This is the whole advantage of a dynamic code. Printing the price on the sticker as well throws it away the first time you discount.
Use one code per product
A single code across a whole range tells you nothing about which product got the interest, and drops the shopper somewhere they still have to search.

4 Golden Rules for 100% Scan Reliability
Avoid the most common print mistakes that cause smartphone camera recognition failures.
Always maintain a clear, unprinted margin (the "quiet zone") around the perimeter of the QR code equal to at least 4 modules in width. Without this white border, camera optical sensors cannot distinguish the code from background artwork.
The foreground modules must be significantly darker than the background. Light colored QR codes on white paper or dark codes on reflective foil surfaces fail in low-light environments.
When embedding a brand logo in the center of the QR code, ScanOrbit uses Reed-Solomon Level H error correction (30% redundancy), ensuring the code scans even with significant visual obstruction.
