Clinics, urgent care & doctor's offices
QR Codes for Medical Clinics and Doctor's Offices
Waiting rooms are full of questions the front desk answers all day: how do I use the portal, where's the Wi-Fi, what do I do after this procedure. QR codes on the wall and the discharge sheet answer them, and send patients to your own secure systems for anything personal.
Free plan: 3 dynamic codes, no time limit. Pro types free for 14 days, no card.

Timing
When patients read instructions: often that evening at home.
Reported for every code: scans over time, unique vs total, country, US state and city, iPhone vs Android, operating system, hour of day and day of week, with CSV export and a weekly email report.
Printing it so it scans
- Waiting-room signs at least 4 inches (10 cm) wide, readable from a seat.
- Discharge sheets: at least 1 inch (2.5 cm), with what the code opens.
- Wipeable or laminated signs for infection control.
- Print one proof and scan it with an iPhone and an Android phone where it will be used before printing the rest.
Keep health information out of ScanOrbit
ScanOrbit isn't HIPAA certified, and scan analytics never identify a patient. Don't collect symptoms, medical history or other health information through ScanOrbit forms; link to your EHR, portal or HIPAA-compliant forms system for anything personal.
